Power rankings: Baltimore Ravens and Kansas City Chiefs fight for top spot
By Darin McCann
16. Cleveland Browns, 1-1 (18)
They beat the Bengals to move to 1-1 and land directly in the middle of the rankings. That, my friends, is a huge victory for Browns fans. Their offense has potential. The defense is a work in progress.
15. Dallas Cowboys, 1-1 (13)
speaking of sitting in the lap of mediocrity… the Dallas Cowboys. That was an exciting win for them against the Falcons. It was also terrifying, as the defense looks to be a screaming question mark.
14. San Francisco 49ers, 1-1 (6)
This is a steep drop after a convincing win, but injuries to their defensive line screws up the best part of their defense. This team has already been ravaged at receiver, and at some point, well… let’s see how they do.
13. Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 1-1 (10)
They got a nice win over the Panthers, but some other teams have shown more to this point. They can still climb, and they probably will. But that loss to the Saints shows some concern now that the Saints lost to the Raiders.
