Question 2:

@laxpup wants to know: Assuming a close win for Baltimore, what squad (Off, Def, or ST) most likely seals the game, and what’s the scenario? *Justin Tucker is virtually automatic, and therefore not a valid answer. **unless it’s like a 65 yarder, or it’s raining sideways.

Answer: Well it’s going to be a close game so I wouldn’t doubt a win coming down to special teams. Justin Tucker ending a Steelers game with a game winner is something that we’ve seen before and we will certainly see this again. Let’s go with the offense though. If it’s the close game we know the defense did it’s job. If it’s a close game that ends in a loss, the offense didn’t take advantage of the chances they had in the game. It’s kind of that simple.

Look, if the Ravens are going to win this game this has to be the answer. Assuming the defense does it’s job you’re going to get a stalemate between two very good defenses. The Ravens offense has to find a way to be the difference. The offense doesn’t need to be all that pretty in this one. If they don’t turn it over, don’t lose the time of possession or field position battles and score a few touchdowns instead of settling for field goals, we’ll take whatever that looks like.

What I think is going to happen is that Jackson will find his stride early and it will surprise the Steelers. Jackson is due for a huge game. He’s do for a “how did he do that play” as well. Give me Jackson to be the difference maker and remind the Ravens Flock and the football world, that he’s really good.

This is a big game and if the Ravens are the contenders they think they are, that quite frankly we have thought that they are, the offense is going to step up to the challenge. At a certain point the offense can’t be out of sync. Yoda said “You either do or you don’t, there is no try.” Well that sums it up. It’s do it time for the Ravens.
