As the NFL free agency hits Wave 2, it’s starting to drag on a little bit. However, that’s not to say there isn’t a lot of talent left on the board. For a team like the Baltimore Ravens, which has already lost 11 players, they’ll be looking to win this phase to fill out the rest of their roster ahead of the 2026 NFL Draft.

As these next moves are made, there will be some slight repercussions on Baltimore’s current roster. For the members of the 2025 rookie class whose jobs aren’t entirely secured, they could be feeling the heat in the coming weeks.

Here are three Ravens draft picks from last year who could be under pressure by potential free agent signings this offseason.

3 Ravens draft picks who could be pressured by Wave 2 of free agency

Robert Longerbeam

Cornerback Robert Longerbeam was selected in the sixth round at 212th overall out of Rutgers last year. Unfortunately, we didn’t see anything from Longerbeam in 2025, not even in preseason. It was a mysterious case during the offseason that ended with a torn patella tendon, ending his rookie season before it even got started.

As one of Baltimore’s final draft picks from 2025, Longerbeam never held that much roster pedigree. As an undersized corner at 5-foot-11, he may be at a bigger disadvantage, too.

The Ravens need secondary help desperately, coming off a horrific defensive campaign. They re-signed Chidobe Awuzie, but need more. If they add another corner in free agency, Longerbeam would likely be on the chopping block.

Bilhal Kone

The same could be said for Bilhal Kone. The 24-year-old corner’s rookie season also ended with an injury before the regular season. He flashed throughout camp, but suffered a devastating knee injury in Week 1 of the preseason, tearing his ACL and MCL.

Kone came off the board in the sixth round, 178th overall, and like Longerbeam, holds very little roster pedigree. His build makes him an intriguing young player, though: 6-foot-1, 190 pounds with 4.43 40-yard dash speed.

That blend of size and athleticism will likely keep him as a brighter spot on the coaching staff’s radar, but with limited roster spots, Kone could be a tight squeeze onto the 53-man group if the Ravens continue to bring in corners.

Aeneas Peebles

This isn’t going to be a popular one. Defensive lineman Aeneas Peebles was a fan favorite after an electric preseason and a very good start to regular-season action. However, he barely saw the field later in the year. Despite the flashes, he has to earn new head coach Jesse Minter and the coaching staff’s faith, which could be hard to do.

Right now, Peebles might be the sixth defensive lineman in the rotation. While Broderick Washington has been constantly mentioned as a possible cap casualty, Baltimore has also been linked to defensive linemen like Javon Hargrave this offseason. Hargrave ultimately signed with the Green Bay Packers, but if the front office does improve the interior defensive line as many expect, it could push Peebles to a fringe roster spot.

Peebles is also very undersized for a defensive lineman at 6-foot, 289 pounds. He was able to work around that in college as a formidable force as a pass rusher, but NFL offensive linemen could prove to be a different problem. He can’t get comfortable with where he currently stands on the depth chart.

While each of these players could have a bright future as rotational options, Baltimore is aiming for a Super Bowl in 2026. They won’t let late-round picks from last year’s draft affect how they construct their roster in free agency. They also have 11 picks in the 2026 NFL Draft, which will be a whole separate problem when next season comes.
