The Baltimore Ravens are coming off a polarizing offseason, but for the most part, it was a stellar one. Sure, they lost some key contributors from the 2025 roster, an extremely agonizing number, actually. However, the front office picked up the pieces well, making big-time improvements to transform weaknesses into strengths.
One area Baltimore improved dramatically was their pass rush. Trey Hendrickson and Zion Young arrived in Charm City, helping create a very strong top-four. Still, there may be room for one more guy to finalize the unit.
Many people eyed Jadeveon Clowney as a potential target for the Ravens, but he signed elsewhere, joining the Houston Texans. That makes an already shallow free-agent pass-rush market even shallower. With that in mind, here are three players who could make sense for Baltimore if they opt to fill that apparent need.

Joey Bosa
If the Ravens go after extra pass rush help, it should be a veteran. And when it comes to veterans who can get after the quarterback, Joey Bosa might be the most talented one still out there.
Bosa has struggled with injuries at times throughout his career, which persisted in 2025, when he saw a lengthy list of them, most notably a torn labrum. Still, he made 15 starts in the regular season and totaled five sacks. His 77 career sacks make him an even more appealing free agent.
The question with Bosa is: will he play in 2026? There’s been speculation about him being a no-go for this upcoming season, and given his age and injury history, that wouldn’t completely come out of left field.
If Bosa is looking to take the field, though, the Ravens might be a good landing spot.
Kyle Van Noy
Let’s get one thing straight: Kyle Van Noy’s best years are behind him. He experienced a career revival in his three-year stint with the Ravens from 2023 to 2025, and one that saw him earn a Pro Bowl nod in 2024. However, last year was extremely forgettable.
Over 15 games, Van Noy finished with just two sacks—the lowest mark of his career since 2016, when he wasn’t even a full-time pass rusher yet. Simply put, he was probably the biggest disappointment of the team’s 30-sack group from 2025.
While that doesn’t really sound like a player you’d like to pursue in free agency, Van Noy would bring familiarity. Yes, it’s a new coaching staff, but the 12-year veteran would improve the chemistry on the field. That could be a driving factor in possibly bringing him back.
Leonard Floyd
Leonard Floyd might be the most stable option of the three listed here. Bosa brings fine production, but his injuries are a red flag; Van Noy brings prior experience in Baltimore, but had the worst sack numbers of the trio last year. For Floyd, you can trust him to be on the field and do enough in the sack department.
Like Van Noy, Floyd is coming off one of the worst seasons of his career, finishing with just 3.5 sacks. However, before that, he had posted at least 8.5 sacks from 2020 to 2024. Pair that with a reliability to be on the field in 153 out of a possible 165 appearances over his 10-year career, and there’s plenty of reason to be interested in Floyd.
It’s not like the Ravens would need a superb pass rusher either. They might just need one more guy who can stay on the field and actually give them a little bit of production on the defensive front. With the way his career has gone, that is exactly what Floyd could provide.
