The Baltimore Ravens squeezed out another ugly win on Sunday, defeating the New York Jets 23-10. It was another outstanding performance from the Ravens’ defense, and while the offense struggled once more, they were able to make enough plays to seal another victory.
The defense strapped up, holding an opposing offense to under 300 total yards for a second straight game. The offense also failed to eclipse the 300-yard mark, but several big plays from running back Derrick Henry and wide receiver Zay Flowers turned the tide in the second half.
Here are four winners and two losers from Baltimore’s Week 12 win.
4 winners and 2 losers from Ravens’ Week 12 win
Winner: Defensive Line
Whether it was outside linebackers Dre’Mont Jones and Mike Green, or defensive tackle Travis Jones, the Ravens’ defensive front got after newly named starting quarterback Tyrod Taylor on Sunday. They made Taylor uncomfortable in the pocket all day, and while running back Breece Hall made some splash plays, the run defense kept him largely in check for most of the day. He finished with 44 yards on the ground and 2.8 yards per carry.
Dre’Mont Jones had the game-changing plays in the win. He had his first two sacks as a Raven in this one, his second of which ultimately put the finishing touches on the win.
Loser: Alohi Gilman
While the defense was nearly flawless, safety Alohi Gilman had a tough day. Notably, he was late to his assignment, wide receiver John Metchie, on a touchdown reception that kicked off the scoring in the second quarter. He also had a bad missed tackle on Hall’s 40-yard catch and run that almost put the Jets right back in the game.
Gilman did recover a fumble forced by cornerback Marlon Humphrey later in that drive, but his day was a forgettable one.
Winner: Zach Orr
Prior to the regular season, Defensive Coordinator Zach Orr preached the importance of forcing turnovers. It was a phase of the game that the Ravens struggled to execute early in the season, but now they are getting takeaways at an impressive rate.
The defense has forced turnovers in six straight games now, and against New York, they added two more to their total. The Humphrey forced fumble flipped the game in Baltimore’s favor, and cornerback T.J. Tampa truly sealed the win with his first career interception with five seconds to go.

Orr has his unit playing like one of the best in the NFL over the last two months, and after seemingly starting the year on the hot seat, he has undoubtedly saved his job.
Loser: Andrew Vorhees and Daniel Faalele
It was an ugly day for the Ravens’ offensive guard duo. Left guard Andrew Vorhees and right guard Daniel Faalele did the rushing attack no favors early on, as they struggled to find success in short-yardage situations and red zone opportunities. They got out of that funk in the second half, but their blocking efforts were troubling.
This has been a common theme for Vorhees and Faalele all year. With rookie offensive lineman Emery Jones being made active for the first time in his NFL career on Sunday, the clock could be ticking on their time as starters.
Winner: Patrick Ricard
Fullback Patrick Ricard remains undefeated in 2025. Since returning from injury, the Ravens have won every game Ricard has played in. His efforts against the Jets helped give Baltimore the win.
The biggest play of the afternoon came on a fourth-and-goal play late in the third quarter. After being stuffed on the two-yard line for three straight plays, Offensive Coordinator Todd Monken opted to give the ball to running back Derrick Henry one more time. He did not disappoint, finding the end zone untouched thanks to a pancake by Ricard.

Winner: Devontez Walker
Wide receiver Devontez Walker only had one catch, but it was a huge play. He cooked former Ravens’ cornerback Brandon Stephens for a 30-yard gain, which eventually set up a 35-yard field goal by rookie kicker Tyler Loop to make it a two-score game.

Walker was on the field for 25 plays after touching the field with the offense for just nine plays in last week's win over the Cleveland Browns. With fellow wide receiver Rashod Bateman continuing to nurse an ankle injury, Walker has a golden opportunity to carve out a role on the offense ahead of the team’s Thanksgiving clash with the Cincinnati Bengals.
The Ravens are now riding a five-game winning streak entering a primetime matchup with the Bengals at M&T Bank Stadium on Thursday.
