Since joining the Baltimore Ravens last offseason, running back Derrick Henry has become a staple of the team's offensive attack. At 31 years old, he has cemented himself into NFL history as one of the best rushers of all-time, but is also already etching his name in Ravens' history in just his second season.

Let's take a look at a handful of milestones "King" Henry will be chasing in 2025.

Derrick Henry Milestones

Career Rushing

In 2024, Henry advanced from 36th all-time in rushing yards to 19th with a monster season. In 2025, Henry has his sights set on a who’s who of NFL legends.

With 1,000 rushing yards, Henry would jump to 11th in NFL history in yards, passing Steven Jackson, Fred Taylor, Thurman Thomas, Franco Harris, Marcus Allen, Edgerrin James, Marshall Faulk, and Jim Brown. Henry is 1,316 yards from the 10th spot, currently occupied by Tony Dorsett. If Henry can match his 2024 output of 1,921 yards, he would also surpass Eric Dickerson for ninth on the leaderboard.

Career Rushing Touchdowns

Henry is currently tied for sixth in lifetime rushing touchdowns with Jim Brown at a whopping 106. He is four rushing touchdowns from the fifth-place Walter Payton.

Henry would need another monster season to catch Adrian Peterson (14) or Marcus Allen (17) on the leaderboard. Henry did have 16 rushing touchdowns in 2024, the third time he had at least 16 in a season. His career high was 17 from his 2020 campaign.

Career Touchdowns

Henry has 111 career touchdowns, tied for the 18th-most in NFL history with Tony Gonzalez. He is 15 touchdowns from the top 10.

Early in the season, Henry should pass Shaun Alexander (one) and Lenny Moore (two) in touchdowns. With five touchdowns, he would tie Antonio Gates and John Riggins. He needs 10 to tie Larry Fitzgerald and 14 to tie Payton.

Ravens Leaderboards

Rushing Yards

Henry is already eighth in Ravens history with 1,921 rushing yards. With a modest season (881 yards), he would pass Justin Forsett, Priest Holmes, and Willis McGahee into the top five.

The highest Henry can shoot for this season is fourth, passing Gus Edwards with 1,474 yards. The Ravens’ top three on the rushing leaderboard are above 6,100 yards, a mark Henry is unlikely to reach until 2027 at the earliest.

Rush Touchdowns

Henry is tied for sixth in Ravens history with 16 rushing touchdowns, alongside Joe Flacco. Edwards is 10 ahead of Henry, while McGahee is 15 ahead. If Henry were to age well, he could top the list (pending Lamar Jackson) with 29 rushing touchdowns over the three remaining seasons on his contract.

Touchdowns

Henry is tied for 12th in Ravens history with 18 total touchdowns. He would move into the top 10 with just four touchdowns.

If Henry were able to replicate his 18-touchdown season, he could move to fifth-place on the leaderboard - pending Jackson (currently at 33 touchdowns). A more modest goal would be eight touchdowns to move into the No. 9 slot in Ravens history.

Pro Bowls

Henry has amassed five Pro Bowls in his career. Other notable running backs with five Pro Bowls include Hall of Famers Earl Campbell and LaDainian Tomlinson. A sixth Pro Bowl would push Henry into a class with O.J. Simpson, Dickerson, LeSean McCoy, and Jerome Bettis.

Ray Rice is the only Ravens running back to make multiple Pro Bowls, making it in 2009, 2011, and 2012. Henry has made the last three Pro Bowls and five of the last six.

1,500-Yard Seasons

Henry has recorded four seasons of at least 1,500 yards in his career, a mark only surpassed by Barry Sanders (five). Henry is tied with James, Dickerson, and Payton.

Henry was only the second Raven to rush for more than 1,500 yards in a season, joining Jamal Lewis' 2003 season.

Playoff Rushing Yards

Henry is seventh all-time with 1,002 playoff rushing yards. He is 138 yards from moving into sixth place, currently occupied by Terrell Davis.

Henry is 584 yards from the top spot (Emmitt Smith), which could be attainable while Henry is under contract for the next three seasons. No player in NFL history with as many playoff games averages more rushing yards than Henry’s 111.3 yards per game.
