The Baltimore Ravens delivered when the lights were brightest. They captured a season-saving victory in Week 17 over the Green Bay Packers. It may be too little, too late. However, entering Sunday’s slate, their playoff hopes are still alive.

It was an outstanding performance from quarterback Tyler Huntley, who saved Baltimore’s season for the second time in 2025. In his only start before Week 17, Huntley helped defeat the Chicago Bears in Week 8. Now, he steps up against another NFC North opponent, the Packers, in Week 17.

The reason for the win mostly comes down to running back Derrick Henry, who had his best game of the year with 36 carries for 217 yards and four touchdowns. However, the passing attack did its job, too.

Huntley completed 16-of-20 passes for 107 yards and one touchdown. Wide receiver Zay Flowers led receivers as usual, hauling in four receptions for 30 yards and a touchdown. The 25-year-old has struggled in the big moments in his career, but he finally conquered those issues on Saturday night.

Zay Flowers silences doubters with clutch Week 17 showing

This year, Flowers has had his fair share of problems with drops and fumbles. It seems like every time the Ravens need a game-winning drive, Flowers falters in some sort of way. This was fresh in his mind after a critical fumble in last week’s loss. He shook that off in Green Bay.

When Baltimore needed a touchdown the most, Flowers came through. Up 27-24, Flowers found paydirt on a 10-yard touchdown pass from Huntley. Every fan will likely tell you they had mini heart attacks when they saw the ball pop free after Flowers hit the ground, but it was a confirmed touchdown that put the Ravens up two scores and in the driver’s seat for the rest of the night.

Flowers is having a career year. He made his second-straight Pro Bowl this past week and has reached new highs in receptions and receiving yards with 82 receptions for 1,073 yards through 16 games. After facing adversity after a costly error that may have a lasting impact on Baltimore’s season, Flowers answered the bell on Saturday.

The Ravens are relying on the Cleveland Browns to defeat the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday. It does not look great, but they held up their end of the bargain this week. If Cleveland answers their prayers, they could use this Week 17 as momentum heading into next week’s clash against the Steelers.
