The only thing better than the Cleveland Browns granting the Baltimore Ravens their ultimate wish and trading Myles Garrett out of the AFC North is the Browns getting completely fleeced in the deal. Fortunately, both of those things came true for Ravens fans on Monday.

The Browns traded Garrett, who is fresh off a record-setting 23-sack season in 2025, to the Los Angeles Rams. The move further puts the Rams on the Super Bowl map and for the Browns, it ends an era of Garrett terrorizing AFC North teams.

Garrett leaving the division would have been good enough for Ravens fans but after seeing what Cleveland got in return for the two-time Defensive Player of the Year, it's hard not to laugh hysterically at the Browns front office. Adam Schefter reported that the Browns received Jared Verse, a 2027 first-round pick, a 2028 second-round pick, and a 2029 third-round pick. That's it.

Some might point out that landing Verse in the deal is enough to qualify as a first-round pick received in the deal since he was a former first-rounder. Verse has played well during his first two years in the league but he's not anywhere close to being on Garrett's level. The fact of the matter is that the Browns truly only received on first-round pick for Garrett, who won Defensive Player of the Year last year and set the single-sack record. Insanity.

Ravens fans are used to seeing the Browns whiff on offseason moves like these so this is nothing new. That being said, fans can continue to keep a close eye on Cleveland and what they do with these few picks they received.

If history is any indicator, Ravens fans shouldn't have to worry too much about the Browns becoming contenders after this deal. They just traded their best player and didn't get enough compensation to really move the needle much. Classic Browns. Hopefully, things continue to play out the way that Ravens fans are used to them playing out with the Browns not adding the right players with these pics.
