As the Baltimore Ravens get deeper into training camp, they’re getting healthier and healthier. They already saw the biggest return of all in the form of Nnamdi Madubuike, who passed his physical and came off the PUP list. More recently, they’ve seen two more players return to the field.
Adisa Isaac and Bilhal Kone made their long-awaited returns on Friday. Both missed the entirety of the 2025 campaign; Isaac with an elbow injury and Kone with a torn ACL and MCL. At full health, training camp will be crucial for the young duo.
Up to this point, neither Isaac nor Kone has made a name for themselves. Injuries have blocked Isaac at pretty much every corner, and as for Kone, he saw just one quarter of preseason action before that serious knee injury stole his rookie campaign from him. Now is their chance to make their mark.

While both Isaac and Kone are young and lack much on-field experience, they’re entering a very, very important training camp. It might be a bit unfair, but they are facing a heated battle to make the team’s 53-man roster in 2026.
Isaac is the one who is facing more heat. After being selected in the third round of the 2024 NFL Draft, there was some excitement surrounding the Penn State product. However, he’s barely seen the field, has disappointed when he has been healthy, and is currently sitting near the bottom of the depth chart at outside linebacker.
Sure, Isaac is likely the leader for what is expected to be the fifth and final pass rusher spot, but it’s gotten to the point where a roster spot isn’t guaranteed. His draft pedigree doesn’t hold much weight anymore, and if guys like Kaimon Rucker and Ethan Burke run with the opportunity sitting in front of them, Isaac could find himself in real danger. Luckily, recovering from that elbow issue that caused ligament damage is the first step in the right direction for Isaac.
As for Kone, he’s at war in a very deep cornerback room. Just last year, he was drafted in the sixth round of the 2025 NFL Draft, and the ensuing camp brought some attention to Kone’s name. Unfortunately, with an injury taking away his audition season, he’s stuck at square one, while others may have an advantage.
Kone is battling several names in the corner rotation: Keyon Martin, Chandler Rivers, and Robert Longerbeam. There won’t be room for all of them, and Longerbeam is probably Kone’s top competitor. A hot start in his return from injury would certainly help his case in that battle.
In the coming month, we’ll see what Isaac and Kone truly have to offer. They must start on the right foot, not only if they want to make the roster, but also if they want any chance at actually seeing the field this upcoming season.
