The AFC North is one of the most stacked divisions in the NFL. It is brutally competitive, and many perennial All-Pros and Pro Bowlers inhabit the group. From offensive threats to defensive game-wreckers, almost every player at every position can take over a game. No one is as good as the Baltimore Ravens, who are the best of the bunch, though.

Going into 2025, Baltimore’s roster is special. It is not just the best in the AFC North, but it might be the best in all of football. At each position, the Ravens seem to have a solidified starter. One of the only areas where there may be some doubt is the special teams unit, and under head coach John Harbaugh, that usually sorts itself out. It is obvious why they are projected to win the North again in 2025.

In a recent article, Matt Holder of Bleacher Report created all-star teams for each NFL division. He projects what the stars’ production could look like in 2025 to make these teams. For the AFC North, the team was cluttered with Baltimore playmakers. On offense, six of the 11 players were Ravens. It included Lamar Jackson, Derrick Henry, Zay Flowers, Ronnie Stanley, Tyler Linderbaum, and Roger Rosengarten. The defensive side of the football had four Ravens: Nnamdi Madubuike, Roquan Smith, Marlon Humphrey, and Kyle Hamilton. That is 10 Ravens out of the 22 total players.

The Baltimore Ravens have tightened their grip on the AFC North

It was already clear that Baltimore has the best roster in the AFC North, but seeing it arranged into an all-division team puts it into perspective. What Eric DeCosta and the front office have built is something out of a movie. Their roster easily rivals the reigning Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles, and they have everything it takes to hoist the Lombardi Trophy when it is all said and done.

When it comes to the offense, the Ravens are as good as it gets, and the list proves that. The unit made history last year, and 2025 should be even better. The quarterback and running back might be the best in the league at their positions, and their offensive front consists of two elite players and a rookie bound for big things in 2025.

The defensive side was abysmal overall in 2024, but the late-season turnaround shows they should return to domination this upcoming season. They have two extraordinary players handling assignments at defensive back, a physical leader holding down the middle of the field, and a defensive lineman feasting against offensive fronts.

The list does not even mention some of the other prominent pieces that Baltimore can use to beat opposing teams. In a great AFC North, their dominance on this list proves they are ready to win their first Super Bowl since 2012 this year.
