All of the early buzz around Baltimore Ravens new offensive coordinator, Declan Doyle, has been widely positive and his attention to detail has been one specific area that everyone talks about. Recently, rookie wide receiver Elijah Sarratt added to the praise around Doyle and his attention to detail.

During the Ravens minicamp, Sarratt made a viral contested catch, but that didn't change Doyle from offering some constructive criticism.

"Speaking on coach Dec's detail-oriented again, he told me my angle should have been higher on [the catch]. The next day in the film room, he was like you gotta fix your angle on it," Sarratt said.

Declan Doyle's detail-oriented nature can help the Baltimore Ravens level up

This might seem like a little moment, but it tells you everything that you need to know about the tone and the culture Doyle is setting. His standards are rightfully high; they should be, especially given Baltimore's Super Bowl aspirations. Just as importantly, he's extremely detailed both regarding the game plan and helping players improve.

It's one thing to have a high degree of discipline, but not be able to connect with players. By all accounts, Doyle seems to be both providing discipline while building relationships with players and this story from Sarratt highlights his ability to balance both of these key aspects of coaching.

Last season, there seemed to be some real issues with the Ravens from a game plan and a more general discipline standpoint. Thankfully, Doyle seems poised to help solve these issues.

Doyle's detail-oriented nature will undoubtedly help the Ravens on a weekly basis as they game-plan against teams. Likewise, his offense is super complex, which could give the Ravens the versatility and passing game they've lacked in recent years.

Lamar Jackson has previously praised Doyle for his creativity and detailed nature. Again, all the early signs around Doyle are positive.

Talent has never been the issue for the Ravens; they've just needed a coaching staff that can maximize their talent. We all know the last coaching staff didn't do that, but the new coaching staff seems ready to change that in a meaningful way and Doyle will be a big part of this transformation.

With the Ravens finally having an ideal coaching staff, including a brilliant offensive mind, the sky is truly the limit for this team. Jackson and Derrick Henry are already one of the best QB-RB duos in the league, which has long made the Ravens one of the best offenses in the league.

While they don't have big names in their wide receiver room, with internal development, two intriguing rookies, (including Sarratt) and creative play-calling, they could have a high-octane passing game.

Overall, this moment with Sarratt is a microcosm of what Doyle will bring to this group from a discipline and detail standpoint.
