The Baltimore Ravens’ 2025 season has been lackluster to say the least. The team got off to a 1-5 start, and as they enter their Week 10 game matchup with the Minnesota Vikings, they own a 3-5 record and are fighting for their playoff lives.
Several players and coaches have mentioned they are treating every game like a playoff game from here on out, and it will not be an easy road to get back into playoff contention. Still, there have been some silver linings to this year for Baltimore.
Multiple young players are cementing their status as star players, rookies are carving out significant roles, and key veterans have continued to make their mark week-to-week. For a starter like tight end Mark Andrews, his campaign has been nothing crazy, but he is once again on track to ink his name in the franchise’s record books.
Mark Andrews on pace to break franchise records in coming weeks
Andrews has tallied just 26 receptions for 230 yards in 2025. He does have four touchdowns, but overall, his production throughout the year has been far from the primary or secondary focus in the Ravens’ offense. Through eight games, he has only tallied over 35 yards once, that being his six catch, 91-yard, and two touchdown night against the Detroit Lions in Week 3.
It might be Baltimore’s final season with the team, but he is looking to put the finishing touches on his career in Charm City. Andrews already has the touchdown record with 55 touchdowns, but the second half should see him reach a couple more franchise highs in significant receiving categories.
In Minnesota, Andrews is all but guaranteed to become the Ravens’ all-time leader in receiving yards. Wide receiver Derrick Mason is the current record holder in that stat with 5,777 yards, but Andrews is breathing down his neck, 18 yards away. The three-time Pro Bowler has fallen short of 18 yards in a single game twice in 2025, but both came in the first two weeks of the season. Since Week 3, he has totaled at least 22 yards in every game.
Andrews is also within striking distance of Mason’s record of 471 receptions across a Baltimore career. He is 10 catches away from breaking that one, so it is highly improbable he breaks two records in one game, but he can cut into that record in Week 10.
Minnesota has struggled against tight ends recently. Los Angeles Chargers’ rookie tight end Oronde Gadsden II went for 77 yards and a touchdown on five receptions in Week 8. Detroit Lions’ Pro Bowl tight end Sam LaPorta hauled in six passes for 97 yards and a touchdown last week.
Overall, Week 10 sounds like the perfect week for Andrews to capture another franchise record.
