Going into the 2023 season, the Baltimore Ravens have high hopes. A Super Bowl run would be fantastic, and also could be realistic if all goes according to plan. This roster is about as well-constructed as it's been in a few years.

But, to get there, they'll have to get through a black and blue division in the AFC North. These teams always play each other tough, and 2023 will be no different. The Ravens are set up well, though, to compete within this division and make a run for the division crown.

Right now, teams are getting set for grueling summer practices. But, it's never too early for some bold predictions. Let's get into a few for not just the Ravens, but the rest of the AFC North as well.

Bold Prediction Number 1: Lamar Jackson surpasses 4,000 passing yards

Earlier this offseason, Lamar Jackson said he wanted to throw for 6,000 yards in 2023. That's an admirable aspiration, but it's also completely farfetched for just about any quarterback to say. Now, he does have more weapons than he's ever had on this current roster. That fact, alone, will allow him to finish this coming season with a career-high in passing yards.

A reasonable, yet lofty goal for Jackson, would be right around 4,100 passing yards this coming season. With weapons like Odell Beckham Jr., Zay Flowers, Rashod Bateman, Mark Andrews and Isaiah Likely, Jackson has plenty to work with.

Not to mention, the new offense Baltimore is installing will allow Jackson to throw more often than he's been accustomed to since entering the league. All of this is working in his favor to enjoy the best year of his career, which is perfect timing, considering he just signed a massive contract to stay in Baltimore for the next five years.
