2. Ronald Darby has been shut down for the Baltimore Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens were going to be without Marlon Humphrey, which somehow was not a big deal to many Ravens fans. That is not because Humphrey has been bad, but much more because the team knows they have the depth to handle it. The question was more about whether they would start Ronald Darby or Rock Ya-Sin. Darby has been better in coverage all year, and he got the call. Darby was excellent against the Houston Texans.

He gave up a catch to Dalton Schultz, but other than that, you hardly heard his name. The biggest catch that Nico Collins made was against Brandon Stephens.

This is an insane luxury to have. Darby would start on most NFL teams at this point, and he is only playing for the Ravens because they have an injured super star. It will be interesting to see what happens if Humphrey gets healthy in the next couple of weeks because Darby played so well it would be hard to put him on the bench.

Humphrey and Darby have platooned earlier in the season; would that happen? Or do the Ravens just shut down Humphrey for another week and find out his status in the Super Bowl? Either way, they are not missing him, thanks to Ronald Darby.
