Joe Speaks Out
It is truly fascinating that there is such a disconnect with the offense and how all the dirty laundry is starting to air out now that the season is over. Throughout the entire season, Joe Flacco had more connect and contact with Zorn, than he did with Cam Cameron. Good plays and bad plays, you would see Joe talking to Zorn on the sidelines, not Cameron. It seems that Joe has very little to say and do with Cameron. He doesn’t trust the offensive coordinator and after the firing of Zorn, he let his feelings fly. Good for him and [...]
Are you tuning in to the Superbowl?
Now that the Superbowl is quickly approaching and we know who the game players are, can you stomach watching another possible Lombardi Trophy being handed to Steelers? The official presenters of the trophy will be a cluster of all referees gathered to congratulate Big Ben on another great season and hand him the title. Big Ben, you just won the Superbowl, what are you going to do next, I going to attempt to violate another woman in Disneyworld!!
Cam Cameron Staying Is A Huge Mistake
It is amazing to think that after the Ravens nose dived on offense this season and were not able to support it’s defense once again, they would basically keep the core of the offense the same. Sure we won 13 games this season, but how many of those games did we really win. It seems that both the head coach and owner are blind to this fact. Maybe they’re still in denial or maybe, just maybe Cam has brainwashed the whole bunch. Sure he has had success in the league and is respected, but could it be that he believes [...]
Cundiff Deal
It seems that our pro-bowl kicker Billy Cundiff is about to sign a 5 year deal worth about 15 million. Nice to see after all these years he has finally found a place to land. Hopefully we can put to rest the issue of not re-signing Matt Stover. Next up…..Ngata!!!
Should we have kept Bart Scott?
When the Ravens added Bart Scott to the lineup many years ago it seemed that we had a great heir apparent to Ray Lewis. Someone who would have a great mentor and would slowly become the next great middle linebacker in Baltimore. At his peak here in Baltimore, he finished his season with 103 tackles and 9.5 sacks in 2006. His last year here in Baltimore his stats fell off a little, however the following year in New York, they were back up, maybe not to the level of 2006, but definitely respectable. I truly believe that if we had [...]
State of Ravens- Offensive Coaching
When Coach John Harbaugh was asked about how close he felt his team was being a Superbowl team and just another playoff team, his response was a closely held finger and thumb. You know the old ” this close” hand gesture. My question is, does he really believe this or was this his way of keeping fans excited about possible Superbowl glory next year? There are so many things that need to be corrected in this off-season and with the list they have in front of them and the possibility of a lockout, let’s hope they can get it done. Coaching: It [...]
