2015 NFL Combine: Baltimore Ravens Meeting With Multiple Players
By Brett Foote
La’el Collins
Collins was a true brawler in college in a very competitive conference. He may lack the athleticism necessary to be an NFL left tackle, but his mean streak and competitiveness will serve him well as a guard in a power running game.
Brandon Scherff
Scherff is another guy who possesses the measurables to play left tackle, but he might be better suited as a guard. He is undoubtedly powerful but not explosive. Scherff is a mauler and a road grader in the ground game, but he has some holes in pass protection.
Donovan Smith
Smith is yet another guard prospect largely because of his build and skill set. His hands need work and he isn’t an elite athlete, but Smith is powerful and could be an asset inside.
