2. Michael Crabtree

Michael Crabtree will be the Ravens number one receiver and he could make a gigantic difference for this offense. Crabtree will be the preferred target for Flacco in the passing game. He will bring some toughness to the offense and he may be the player that gets the big momentum building plays. Crabtree has scored eight touchdowns in each of the past three seasons; that kind of production could be the most valuable addition to a team that has struggled to get into the end zone.

Crabtree had a 1,000 yard receiving year in 2016. He’s not far removed from his best work. If Crabtree was the player he was a couple of years ago, and the reason his numbers went down were the Raiders struggles, the Ravens got a top-tier talent. The Ravens haven’t had a ton of excitement from the wide receiver position since Steve Smith Sr. retired. Crabtree could be that kind of leader. He could energize the offense.

The reason Crabtree could be the perfect receiver for the Ravens is that he is a perfect fit. Baltimore has speed guys, what they need Crabtree to be is a go to receiver that can go up and get the football. What Crabtree brings to the table, no player on the roster can provide. That could make Crabtree the most important piece to the Ravens offense and the most valuable player they have.
