Folks, we'll be doing this all year but now is as good a time as ever to join the Purple and Black and become a Baltimore Ravens fan. Flock Nation would love to have you, there is so much room for new members. As always, congratulations to those who are already Ravens fans, you are truly doing the Queen's work.

The Ravens move past Week 1 and enter into Week 2. Their Week 2 opponent figures to be a tad less daunting than their Week 1 matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs. The Ravens' 27-20 loss to the Chiefs should inspire them to come out swinging against the Las Vegas Raiders this Sunday. The Raiders are also coming off a loss to the Las Angeles Chargers.

The matchup should be a good one and as good a time as ever to watch your Baltimore Ravens solidify themselves as one of the best teams in the league against a suspect Raiders team.

Be sure to check in each week, on Wednesdays at 6:00 a.m. ET to see why you should become Baltimore's next Superfan. We want to give you time to overnight some gear just in time for kickoff. For those who missed the party last week, here are your Week 1 reasons for why the Ravens should be your next team.

5 reasons why you should become a Baltimore Ravens fan right now (Week 2 edition)

5. After Week 1 loss, the Ravens can only go up from here

The Ravens come into Week 2 not having won a game in the 2024 NFL season. Sounds harsher than it is in reality, though. The Ravens are 0-1 going into their Sunday afternoon matchup against the Raiders. The Ravens find themselves at the bottom of the AFC after Week 1, but their outlook is bright as they can only improve on their record moving forward.

While they can lose another game and add another loss to the "L" column, they are already winless, so another loss won't change that fact. But with a win, they will quite literally only go up from winless to a one-win team. So in fact, they really can only go up from here.

4. Their home touchdown song is absolute FIRE

The Ravens are at HOME this week, which is the perfect time to hop in on all the fun. The Ravens play The White Stripes' Seven Nation Army for touchdowns and big stops and it's because the fans are just awesome.

I mean "chills" watching this kickoff at M&T Bank Stadium in the playoffs. The energy hasn't stopped to this day.

How can you not watch that and feel like you want to be a part of it? We know you do, you know you do, it's time to convert.

3. If you're not a fan of mustaches or mullets

Raiders quarterback Gardner Minshew was not a highly touted QB prospect out of Washington State back in 2019. He played well for the Cougs, but Minshew was known for the mustache and the mullet. It's quite a look, but to each their own.

New Ravens fans have the perfect opportunity to watch the Ravens' defense get after the mustachioed Minshew. In Week 1 against the Chargers, Minshew was sacked four times. So, if you want to "sack the mullet," there's no better time to do it than right now.

2. There's no 'Better Baller than Lamar Jackson'

Nobody balls harder than Lamar Jackson. Or at least Skip Bayless and Ebony Bird think so. The longtime media personality posted an awkward video after the Ravens' Week 1 loss to the Chiefs but re-affirmed everyone that Jackson is still the best baller in the league.

While we never like to offer unsolicited advice, we implore you (and/or your friends and family) to part ways with the little, not-best ballers out there and opt all the way in on The Best Baller in the NFL. We think number 8 would look good on you.

1. Isaiah Likely is likely going to be really fun to watch

If you're looking for an early candidate to get behind and root for this season, Ravens tight end Isaiah Likely is a great find. Likely was making plays all over the field Week 1. You definitely don't want to miss the highlights this kid puts up on a weekly basis.

Last week alone he had a 49-yard catch-and-run touchdown pass that had dekes and dunks throughout the run to the end zone. And then on the very last play of the game, he jumped over a defender and seemingly caught the would-be game-tying touchdown with 0:00 on the clock before it was ruled his toe was out of bounds.

This kid is special and we'd hate for you to miss out on more of his highlights.
