Ravens Gab did a little Q&A with 1st round draft pick Michael Oher, the tackle from Ole Miss. I’ve got nothing much new to post, so I’m linking my readers out to a competitor. Just make sure you come back. The only other story today is that Nick Greisen signed with the Broncos for a 3-year, $4 million contract, following his release by the Ravens last March.
Also, Jamison Hensley wrote a good article sometime yesterday about all the UFA’s (undrafted free agents) that the Ravens signed that I didn’t care about because of GRAHAM GANO!!!! Daniel Ellerbee, the Georgia linebacker [...]

Michael Oher Q&A on Ravens Gab
Graham Gano: A Raven
The Ravens today signed the best undrafted free agent in this year’s class, kicker Graham Gano. Having a thing for kickers, being a former one myself, I have watched him a lot and love the way he kicks. Reminds me of Matt Stover with much better range. Anyway, Carroll County Times did a great job with this article, so I’ll let you read it here. I feel like kicker is one of the most important positions in the NFL, and we should know that, watching Stover win us games all these years. Gano and Steve Hauschka could platoon, but I [...]

Day 1 Draft Recap
Sorry about last night, I didn’t post this recap because my computer died. I like what the Ravens did on Day 1. Michael Oher is an absolute beast, and was one of my favorite players in the draft. I had read the book about him (The Blind Side by Michael Lewis), and he couldn’t deserve this more. Growing up in the Memphis ghetto, with gang fights around him every day, he went to a very white private school with his friend because of his size and how it could project to the football field. He was basically adopted by this [...]
Ravens Draft Diary
Welcome to The Ebony Bird’s first Ravens Draft Diary
3:28 PM- Right now, it looks like the Boldin deal goes: Heap and a 2nd (possibly a 3rd) for Boldin. This depends on if the Ravens can get Pettigrew at #26, however.
3:38 PM- I’m going to be looking out for some guys who were memorable in college but not big draft prospects like Graham Harrell, Pat White, Curtis Painter, Victor Harris, Chase Daniel. Mostly quarterbacks, but many others, like Javon Ringer and a lot of other running backs and skill position players. Also, whoever gets Louis Vazquez, the Texas Tech guard, is getting [...]

Curry back at #3, lots of top 10 movement, not much other movement. If the Pettigrew at #26 holds true, we should soon welcome Anquan Boldin to Baltimore.

MOCK DRAFT 11:50 AM
New Arrivals: Eben Britton, Percy Harvin
Departures: William Beatty, Hakeem Nicks
I have been resisting putting Tyson Jackson in the #3 spot, but it seems like everyone is putting him in that slot for some reason. I just don’t feel that he’s that good.
EDIT: My bad. Forgot to put Curry back in. Everything is fixed now.
