So first off, this is my last day in California, more constant posting will happen when I return home. Now for the good stuff.
First game: vs Dolphins. I think the Dolphins have been playing incredibly since the Ravens beat them, but that was a poor effort by Flacco and the Ravens’ offense, and the defense won the game for them. With Flacco becoming more consistent and prolific, I see the Ravens putting the Fins away.
Second Game: vs Titans. The Ravens are the bottom seed, meaning if they advance in the conference round, they play the highest seed. If you’ll remember, [...]

Happy to be back, and so happy the Ravens are in.
Looking Back on The Season
First off, Happy Holidays everyone.
Now, when we look back on this season, even it it ends up disappointing with no playoff appearance, this could be the best season in Ravens history (minus one super exception.) Coming into the year with no clear cut QB, an out of shape running back, an aging defense and a new coaching staff, expectations were 8-8, maybe even 9-7, with no shot at a playoff berth. When Joe Flacco was basically forced in as the starter, those expectations dropped a few wins. Flacco’s been excellent, the city has fallen in love with John Harbaugh, the [...]
Wow. Incredible and totally unpredictable game. What the Ravens showed me today is that they can win in any situation they need to. The game started out as a low scoring hard-nosed affair, but turned out to be a no-defense, big play game in the 2nd half. Flacco had a QB rating of 96.9, great for playing against the NFL’s leader in team (and in Demarcus Ware’s case, individual) sacks. Leron McClain had 139 yards on 22 carries, and Willis McGahee had 108 yards on 8 carries. McClain’s TD was the longest and most important run of his career, [...]

Nothing really happened, so don’t bother looking. Sorry I started it so late, but I was expecting another person to cover the first half, but that didn’t work out. Anyway, it was a great game, and now there will be a review posted.
Opening Thoughts:
This is the last game at Texas Stadium, and the Cowboys probably don’t care. They’ll be fired up coming out of the locker room, but after kickoff, it’ll just be like any other home game. Even with that said, Romo will be stepping up because of playoff implications and the crowd should be pumped up. If the linebackers get some good pressure on Tony, they can be intimidating to him, and his back could get bothersome. The Ravens just need to make sure they don’t get killed in zone coverage, like they have been all year. The Cowboys can [...]
Ravens v Cowboys: First Look
First off, I am psyched for this game. I will be totally WIRED tomorrow the whole day waiting for it to start. I plan to have a live blog if the software works, which it should.
The Game:
I’m not gonna post an extensive preview here like last week’s, that’ll be coming sometime tomorrow morning or early afternoon.
Tony Romo has a back injury. TO is (kinda) ticked off. Troy Aikman will be in the house! The ‘Boyz will be nervous and the Ravens need to take advantage of that. If the defense plays the way it did the first 55 [...]
This post is coming way late, but it’s here.
The game was just plain lost by the Ravens, in my opinion. Letting a mediocre-ish offense drive 92 yards on your defense, one of the best in the league is really, really bad. The Prevent defense the Ravens were using with their #1 cornerback during the game, Fabian Washington on the sidelines. I will admit, I felt the refs made a few calls (cough* first down spots) that put the Ravens in unfavorable situations, but I also have to admit I felt the call of touchdown was correct. Argue if you must, but [...]
This Week’s Live Blog
I’m sorry, but I’m unable to host a live blog this week, I plan to have a live blog pretty much every week, but I have some obligations and cannot blog live today. I’ll have something posted either tonight or tomorrow about the game.
